Dallas Custom Pools, Spas & Outdoor Living

Dallas Custom Pools, Spas & Outdoor Living

Relax — we’ll have you swimming in no time.

Despite the alluring ultimate benefits, putting in a pool can seem like an overwhelming process. Each step — planning the best fit for your property and vision, financing it, securing a building permit, and construction — can be a bit daunting for first-timers.

At Venture Custom Pools, however, we make the whole thing remarkably simple. Just check out our virtual tour of our custom pool building process for proof.

In summary, your dream Dallas custom pool can become a reality in just five easy steps — each of which we’ll guide you through:

Step 1 — Planning

To kick things off, set a no-cost appointment (we’ll meet up any day of the week — we love working weekends). One of our experienced designers will come to your home, check out your backyard and property, talk with you about your wants and needs, and help you come up with a truly custom backyard environment. We can help you decide about options like spas and hot tubs, waterfalls and fountains, decks, arbors, fireplaces, fire pits and outdoor kitchens, and waterslides. No matter how simple or extravagant you want your new backyard to be, our expert staff will help you find the perfect fit for your vision.

Step 2 — Financing

Don’t fret — financing is just another easy part of building your dream pool. We offer a full range of no-hassle financing options (most of which are interest-deductible). We’ll also work with your bank to find the best solution for you.

Step 3 — Permitting

At Venture Custom Pools, we maintain a full and dedicated staff whose sole responsibility it is to get you a permit as quickly as possible. The whole process only takes a couple of weeks: it starts with a thumbs up from your local electric company, and is followed by a quick trip to the local city government and any necessary neighborhood authorities.

Step 4 — Construction

Once everything else is ready, we’ll set you up with an appointment with one of our professionals to get the installation process started.

We’ll first paint a rendering of the pool on the ground to make sure it’s the size and shape you want, and that it fully meets your vision. Then we’ll excavate the hole, and launch into the building process that usually takes from four to six weeks (depending on the options and amount of customization you’ve chosen).

During this time, Venture Custom Pools will have many people working behind the scenes to make this process as smooth and painless as possible. This means schedulers (so you can know exactly when you can expect crews to be working on your property), plus superintendents, service techs and managers all overseeing every element of construction.

Step 5 — Service and Follow Up

The process wraps up with a “pool school” at your home, where one of our experts will help you learn how to properly clean, maintain and run your pool.

After that, we’ll be here for as long as you need us, ready to help with all your questions or service needs. Get your free custom pool estimate from Venture Custom Pools today .

An Outdoor Fireplace Invites You to Enjoy Your Own Backyard

Think s’mores, eggnog, romantic evenings and holiday carols around the fire. Cocoa boiling. Marshmallows roasting.

Perhaps it’s time to get out and explore the winter weather. There’s no better way to avoid hiding inside when the Dallas winter strikes than with one of our outdoor fire pits or fireplaces.

An outdoor fireplace or fire pit both simply opens up your backyard during the winter months and gives you a place to enjoy the Dallas-Ft. Worth winter weather (which, let’s be honest, is usually akin to a warm Wisconsin July — it’d be a shame not to relish it). Our custom-made outdoor gas or wood fireplaces and fire pits give you a spot to sit while watching your kids swim, a place to throw parties, and a nook to snuggle up in next to loved ones on cool holiday nights.

Without your backyard, you’re essentially eliminating a large percentage of your property from use for entertaining and enjoyment, and limiting the return on your real estate investment. A gas or wood fireplace or fire pit gives you many of the same benefits as building an extra room onto your house at a fraction of the price, and boosts the overall value of your property.

“We had put in a pool last year,” one homeowner told the Dallas Morning News. “And we didn’t want to use up every square inch of house. We really wanted to keep the yard and the porch. So we figured by adding the fireplace, it would give us a year-round outdoor room… We realized that with the space we had that we could really use that area year-round if we just had that fireplace.”

In addition to outdoor fire pits and fireplaces, we can build you:

  • Outdoor Kitchens
  • Rock and Tile Flooring
  • Refrigerators
  • Grills
  • Arbors/Gazebos
  • Wooden Decks

Outdoor Entertaining With Custom Outdoor Kitchens

Even the simplest of fare becomes something rather special when partaken of in the outdoors, and dining and entertaining al fresco is becoming evermore popular. So much so in fact that it’s no longer just a case of taking a snack or two that you’ve prepared indoors out into the garden. These days the whole eating outside ethic is one that we are fully embracing and it goes way beyond what the barbecues and hibachis of old offered. Where once we simply put a few briquettes on the BBQ and cooked up our hamburgers and hotdogs, these days, veritable banquets are being prepared and cooked and enjoyed in the outdoors.

It’s the most natural thing on earth to prepare and eat food outside, it appeals to some sort of innate need to be at one with nature, and when the weather’s great we want to take advantage of it and enjoy outdoor living as much as we can. Our gardens are very much extensions of our homes, and while we’ve long enjoyed sitting outside or cooling down in the pool during the summer, the more full-on outdoor entertaining is a relatively new trend but one which is definitely set to stay and become more and more popular.

Ironically, preparing and cooking food outside becomes a pleasure rather than a chore – and everyone wants to join in, even the kids. Especially when there’s a superbly thought out outdoor kitchen to work in. Today’s outdoor kitchens offer a wide range of facilities equal in many cases to what an indoor kitchen offers the chef.

Contemporary entertaining that chimes in with our natural desire to enjoy the outdoors – outdoor kitchens may feature:

  • Fireplaces and or Fire Pits
  • Rock and tiled flooring areas
  • Refrigerators
  • Grills
  • Ovens
  • Arbors and Gazebos
  • Wooden Decking
  • Preparation Areas

With an outdoor kitchen, organizing an outside party is stress free – they are equipped with everything you need – just as the kitchen in your home would be, and coupled with outdoor furniture, etc, there’s no longer the need to root things out of storage whenever you feel like entertaining outdoors. As a result, you’re far more likely to decide to lunch al fresco on the spur of the moment or when friends drop by unexpectedly than you would otherwise be.

Covered outdoor kitchens offer protection from the rain and shade on sunny days so they really are an all-weather bonus. In the hot weather there’s no worries about keeping food at the correct temperature as your outdoor refrigerator or freezer will safeguard the ingredients that need to be kept chilled or frozen. And of course, purely as a matter of preference, chilled drinks and ice are most welcome on those very hot days.

For families with children the outdoor kitchen provides a welcome relief from indoor chores – moms and dads can keep a watchful eye on their children as they play and still be preparing lunch. It’s great for families with older kids too – no need for hoards of teenagers to tramp through the house endlessly – if they want to get together to party then the outdoor kitchen offers all they could possibly need to do so without them intruding on their parents’ space.
