The Venture Custom Pools Pool Building Process : Five Steps

Dallas Custom Pools, Spas & Outdoor Living

Dallas Custom Pools, Spas & Outdoor Living

Relax — we’ll have you swimming in no time.

Despite the alluring ultimate benefits, putting in a pool can seem like an overwhelming process. Each step — planning the best fit for your property and vision, financing it, securing a building permit, and construction — can be a bit daunting for first-timers.

At Venture Custom Pools, however, we make the whole thing remarkably simple. Just check out our virtual tour of our custom pool building process for proof.

In summary, your dream Dallas custom pool can become a reality in just five easy steps — each of which we’ll guide you through:

Step 1 — Planning

To kick things off, set a no-cost appointment (we’ll meet up any day of the week — we love working weekends). One of our experienced designers will come to your home, check out your backyard and property, talk with you about your wants and needs, and help you come up with a truly custom backyard environment. We can help you decide about options like spas and hot tubs, waterfalls and fountains, decks, arbors, fireplaces, fire pits and outdoor kitchens, and waterslides. No matter how simple or extravagant you want your new backyard to be, our expert staff will help you find the perfect fit for your vision.

Step 2 — Financing

Don’t fret — financing is just another easy part of building your dream pool. We offer a full range of no-hassle financing options (most of which are interest-deductible). We’ll also work with your bank to find the best solution for you.

Step 3 — Permitting

At Venture Custom Pools, we maintain a full and dedicated staff whose sole responsibility it is to get you a permit as quickly as possible. The whole process only takes a couple of weeks: it starts with a thumbs up from your local electric company, and is followed by a quick trip to the local city government and any necessary neighborhood authorities.

Step 4 — Construction

Once everything else is ready, we’ll set you up with an appointment with one of our professionals to get the installation process started.

We’ll first paint a rendering of the pool on the ground to make sure it’s the size and shape you want, and that it fully meets your vision. Then we’ll excavate the hole, and launch into the building process that usually takes from four to six weeks (depending on the options and amount of customization you’ve chosen).

During this time, Venture Custom Pools will have many people working behind the scenes to make this process as smooth and painless as possible. This means schedulers (so you can know exactly when you can expect crews to be working on your property), plus superintendents, service techs and managers all overseeing every element of construction.

Step 5 — Service and Follow Up

The process wraps up with a “pool school” at your home, where one of our experts will help you learn how to properly clean, maintain and run your pool.

After that, we’ll be here for as long as you need us, ready to help with all your questions or service needs. Get your free custom pool estimate from Venture Custom Pools today .

Autumn, It’s Pool Remodel Season In Dallas

We know the feeling—the sun ‘n fun days of summer sadly slipping away toward cooler weather. Pool season in the Dallas Fort Worth area is almost over. Fortunately, seasons bring renewal, and one pool’s cold front is another’s opportunity.

Here are three ways you can take advantage of the swimming off-season to renew and renovate your swimming pool in time for next summer.

1. Pool Remodeling

Dallas Pool Remodeling & Water FeaturesNothing can spruce up an aging, dated pool like a new, customized spa or waterfall. Or perhaps a slide, fountains, deck jets, spray heads, sheer descents, upgraded decking or a dazzling new colorful lighting scheme. A pool simply defines your backyard, and these kinds of enhancements add both fun and value to your property (and build anticipation toward the upcoming summer!). All of our remodel water features are built entirely from both eco-friendly and cost-effective materials. Fall is the perfect season for pool remodeling.

2. Pool Resurfacing

Dallas Pool Remodeling & Resurfacing

All pools—even the best constructed—wear down over time. Tree roots, pool settling, earth moving, water chemicals and general wear and tear can all produce cracks and wear spots in your pool’s plaster and tile. Resurfacing and re-tiling your pool protects your investment and boosts its long-term value (and is best done during the cooler months when you won’t be tempted to go for a swim before your pool is ready).

Call us. Our Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex-area pool resurfacing experts can help you decide between:

  • Traditional Re-Plastered Surfaces
  • Advanced Pebble and Quartz Coatings
  • Specialty Polished Marble Finishes
  • Traditional Re-Plastered Surfaces

3. Pool Equipment

The cooler months are also optimal times to consider either replacing or upgrading you pool equipment. Keeping your pool humming with the latest, modern equipment will usually lower pool maintenance costs, actually saving you money in the long run. Our Dallas custom pool builders install only equipment that saves energy and water, runs quietly and reduces overall operation costs.
